The Economy: Rising food and energy prices will continue to hit people in their pocketbooks even as interest rates continue to rise, leading to further belt-tightening and reduced consumer spending.

Covid-19: Think the pandemic is over? Think again. The virus is running rampant in China as restrictions are removed, it continues to mutate, and the full impact the growing millions of “long Covid” sufferers will have on already strained societies is only just beginning to be felt.

Supply Chain Disruption: As the pandemic continues, so will the logistics nightmare it has created. The war in Ukraine will continue to exacerbate these problems, too. Don’t expect the free flow of goods and raw materials to resume anytime soon.

Artificial Intelligence: With the launch of Open AI’s ChatGPT, the future has become the present. Powerful AI is now available to everyone with an Internet connection – for free – and people are finding new ways to use and abuse it every day.

Of course, whilst the show is anticipating tough times, Bryce and Marcus also make clear why it is essential to have an understanding of how to find the opportunity in this disruption and how this is the key to success in 2023.
